Dan Snape OBE
Managing Director
Dan is a strategist with considerable hands-on operational leadership experience in Defence where he was on the frontline of the cyber conflict. He led the formation of government strategy to achieve national cyber resilience and directed investment prioritisation for one of the largest cyber security budgets globally. Passionate about tackling the underlying human challenges to effective cyber security, he loves solving wicked problems, developing energised teams and steering organisations through transformative change.

Michael Windmill
Director
Michael is a transformation leader and a tenacious market maker with a track record of defining and delivering high-margin rapid growth strategies. He has extensive experience across: cyber; government, defence, intelligence & space; telecoms; legal; FMCG; transport; health; and CNI. Adept at influencing and driving change at the highest levels, he has led major change programmes for blue-chip and public sector organisations, including developing new commercial models, running post-merger integrations for FTSE 250 business, implementing large IT projects, developing and delivering corporate strategies, and spinning out new businesses.

Ella is a natural problem solver with a passion for people. A recent University of Bristol graduate, Ella brings further scientific rigour and concepts to Kaze Consulting services. Ella has extensive experience in managing complex data sets, structuring analysis and understanding the real world impact of research. A social value champion, Ella heads Kaze’s environmental and sustainability plans. -

Ranulf is a Senior Analytical Leader, bringing a wealth of experience in managing client relationships and developing business opportunities within the Defence sector. He has a proven track record in delivering high-impact consultancy projects, advising senior stakeholders, and driving strategic decisions. With expertise in operational research, workshop design, government approval processes and stakeholder engagement, Ranulf creatively identifies opportunities for improvement and develops sustainable solutions. -

An experienced data scientist & data engineer with extensive experience in leading Machine Learning, AI and automation teams across government and commercial sectors. Leads technical development of Kaze production code to automate mission critical analytics, using a wide variety of methods including; natural language processing, data engineering and statistical approaches. Skilled at communicating highly technical subjects to senior stakeholders.

Rohini is a detail-oriented and performance-driven security analyst with considerable knowledge and practical experience in Computer and Network Security, Cyber Security Analytics, Critical Systems Security, and Information Risk Management. Comfortable working with large complex data sets and driving out evidence-based recommendations, Rohini brings further technical expertise to Kaze Consulting's machine learning and automation capabilities. Rohini holds a master’s degree in Cyber Security from the University of West of England (UWE), Bristol.

Harri brings extensive experience in using machine learning, AI and automation to transform understanding and develop paradigm shifting software solutions. A PhD in Computer Science, Harri leads Kaze research, exploration and innovation in data, software development and automation.

Charlie holds a degree in Computer Security from Cardiff MET (NCSC accredited) and is a certified ISO27001 Internal Auditor. He applies his passion for Cyber and Information security by seeking out simplicity in the complex world of cybersecurity. Charlie is also a CAPSLOCK Mentor, developing students’ technical and professional skills to become employable in the cyber profession.

Senior Data Analyst
Alex is a highly experienced data analyst, passionate about interpreting and analysing data in order to drive successful business solutions. With a background in Aerospace Engineering, he is proficient in analytical, statistical and mathematical techniques and takes time to investigate and understand problems by liaising with business stakeholders resulting in consistent and scalable outcomes. Using his expertise in machine learning and automation, Alex is adept at detecting, predicting and communicating vulnerabilities and threats to help companies make important decisions that supports strategic and tactical risk management activity.

Managing Consultant
Liv holds a Ph.D in Communication from American University in Washington D.C. and has presented her research to collectives such as the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Cybersecurity, the British Psychology Association and U.S. Department of State on the topic of Cyber and Information Security Vulnerabilities on the Humanitarian Frontline. Liv’s professional activities sit at the nexus between data security, AI and ethics and she is adept at bridging industry and academia, working with senior stakeholders to identify pain-points, and develop technology-driven solutions.
